Turn a moon calendar tenugui into a tapestry with a plain wood scroll.

This tenugui moon calendar is made using traditional Japanese indigo dyeing, ``lye fermentation''. Each indigo-dyed tenugui was subjected to ``discharge dyeing'' (a dyeing technique that removes the dyed color) to express the daily waxing and waning of the moon. The time is recorded on full moon and new moon days.
