We have started selling the 2024 Moon Calendar!


This is a '24 moon calendar for tapestry replacement (already sewn).


I received a lot of requests, so I made a new one.
(Please note that the plain wood hanging scroll is not included)


This tenugui moon calendar is made using traditional Japanese indigo dyeing, ``lye fermentation''. Each indigo-dyed tenugui was treated with ``discharge dyeing'' (a dyeing technique that removes the dyed color) to express the daily waxing and waning of the moon. The time is recorded on full moon and new moon days.
